纽卡斯尔大学tesol专业

　　纽卡斯尔大学的TESOL专业全称为Applied Linguistics and TESOL，由于纽卡斯尔大学的语言学，英语语言学及翻译专业都在英国及世界上的知名度都极高，加上几年前杜伦大学又将其TESOL的Program合并到了纽卡斯尔大学，很多课程是由杜伦的老师任教的，因此TESOL专业相对来说课程很紧张。该校的TESOL专业接受任何专业背景学生的申请，也接受有工作经验需要深造的学生，是那些没有语言教育背景但想从事英语教学的同学们申请的首选。

　　纽卡斯尔大学TESOL专业课程设置

　　纽卡斯尔大学的TESOL课程是针对有教学经验和没有教学经验的学生分开设置的，对于没有教学经验的学生，纽卡斯尔提供了关于TESOL的入门级课程(Introduction to TESOL)，主要讲授一些在语言教学中很重要的历史、理论以及实践方面详细的技巧与知识。

　　纽卡斯尔大学TESOL专业入学要求

　　1.学术要求：

　　学位要求，2.1，等同于国内本科75-80，具体根据本科大学(含成教与函授)层次而定

　　背景要求，语言学，英语文学，英语及其他紧密相关专业

　　2.语言要求：

　　雅思6.4，写作6.5，其余5.5

　　托福90分(听力17分，阅读18分，口语20分，写作17分)

　　PTE62，写作61，其余51
