曼彻斯特建筑学院申请过程介绍

　　曼大建院相关专业主要有建筑设计、建筑与城市规划、景观等，可选择的项目很多。以下列出建筑相关专业的学生经常申请的项目：

　　Master of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2)

　　学制：2年

　　MA in Architecture and Urbanism

　　学制：1年

　　Master of Landscape Architecture

　　学制：2年

　　学校官网没有给出确定DDL，建议大家提前一年申请。

　　入学要求

　　1）入学要求

　　Master of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2)

　　You will normally have at least an upper second class undergraduate UK honours degree (or international equivalent) in architecture and/or ARB/RIBA Part 1. Admission will normally be dependent on a successful application and possibly an interview.

　　MA in Architecture and Urbanism

　　You will normally have at least an upper second class undergraduate UK honours degree (or international equivalent) in a related field. Alternatively, you may be admitted if you have proven experience in a relevant field.

　　Master of Landscape Architecture

　　Students eligible for the MLA will normally have a minimum of a second class degree in a closely related subject area.

　　2）英语要求

　　官网没要具体要求，但会在conditional offer里对申请者做出具体分数要求。根据小编的经验，雅思总分6.5小分6就可以了。

　　English language requirements vary by course and department but are usually the equivalent of IELTS 6.0–7.0.

　　Some departments ask that the appropriate score has been met before you apply for a course while other departments give conditional offers subject to applicants achieving our general entry requirement level of English language proficiency before starting the course.

　　申请材料

　　每个专业所需申请材料差不多，大家可以参照官网上的申请材料清单查看。

　　下面列出通常需要提交的材料：

　　1）官方翻译成绩单

　　2）学位证明/在读证明

　　3）语言成绩（申请时可不交）

　　4）Personal Statement

　　5）CV (不必需）

　　6）推荐信1-2封

　　其中至少1封来自学校老师。Master of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2)项目要至少2封推荐信

　　7）作品集

　　作品集要求各有不同，请移步官网查询，以下以Master of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2)项目为例：

　　A digital portfolio of work (minimum of 35 pages) should be submitted with your application, this can be sent to us using an online file transfer apps such as Dropbox or We-transfer. Your portfolio should ideally include a table of contents with information regarding the duration of each project and in which academic year/level it was completed (predominantly from your third year), some design process, design strategy, design resolution and technical strategy and resolution plus a selection of projects worked on during your year in practice.

　　8）其他证明，如实习证明、获奖证书等（不必需）

　　2）可以多个项目同时申请

　　3）想申请景观项目的同学需要格外注意：曼大景观专业是2年制，但是学术背景被学校认可的学生可以直接读第二年的课程
