曼彻斯特大学文科类的特殊录取要求！

　　首先我们来看所有专业都需要的基本材料。有以下几项：

　　1、Two academic references. 两封学术推荐信，这里需要注意应届生只能提交学术类的推荐信。

　　2、Photocopies of degree certificates and official transcripts of previous study.成绩单以及在读证明，这里需要注意提交的成绩单需要应届生是在读三年所有完整的6个学期的成绩，比如一些建筑类的学生是五年制，他们就需要提交四年完整的成绩。

　　3、Evidence of English language ability (if appropriate).提交雅思成绩。一些特殊专业需要提前提交雅思成绩，比如商学院下设的专业。

　　4、A copy of your passport if you need a Tier 4 Student Visa to study here.护照。

　　接下来我们来看一些特殊专业的录取要求。

　　1、MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies艺术画廊和博物馆研究。

　　Relevant discipline such as, Art History, Archaeology, History, History and Philosophy of Science, Anthropology, Classics, English, Fine Art or Photography.这个需要相关的艺术史，考古学，历史，历史和科学哲学，人类学，经典，英语，美术或摄影相关专业。

　　You must also have some work experience (including voluntary work) in a museum, gallery or other relevant organisation. 您还必须在博物馆，画廊或其他相关组织中拥有一些工作经验（包括志愿工作）。

　　2、MA Arts Management, Policy and Practice艺术管理、政策与实践

　　You must provide a statement of purpose outlining any work experience you have in an arts management and/or cultural policy related context, for example in arts venues and organisations, cultural services, voluntary organisations. 一定要提交一篇非常强大立场的ps，里面需要介绍自己在艺术机构、文化服务以及其他相关机构的工作或者志愿经历。实习经历也可以的。

　　3、MA Classics and Ancient History经典与古代历史

　　Applicants intending to follow the Rome Pathway should submit a 500-word statement outlining their reasons for wanting to study at the British School in Rome, and the project they intend to research while staying in Rome.这个需要学生选择罗马方向的，需要500字的陈述，介绍自己为什么愿意在学校学习以及为什么愿意在罗马参加项目。

　　4、MA Conference Interpreting会议翻译

　　You must provide evidence that you have met the School‘s English language requirement at the point of application. You will also be expected, as a condition of any offer made, to successfully complete an interpreting aptitude test prior to being permitted to be admitted to the programme.会议翻译需要我们首先需要达到学校的雅思要求，另外的话如果成功的话还需要做一篇测试题。

　　We usually receive a substantially large number of Mandarin language applications and therefore operate a waiting list for these applicants after March of each year. 我们通常会收到大量的普通话申请，因此在每年3月之后为这些申请人提供等候名单。

　　5、MA Creative Writing创意写作

　　Please submit either a 2,000 - 3,000 word sample of original prose from your portfolio, or 7/8 poems. You can submit a combination of the two if it suits you best. You can submit a combination of the two if it suits you best. 这个专业一定要提交2000字到3000字的一篇原创论文，或者7/8的一篇诗篇。如果最适合您，您可以提交两者的组合。

　　6、MA English Literature and American Studies英语文学与美国研究

　　8、MA Film Studies电影研究

　　Please provide us with a personal statement outlining your interest in this area of study, what you can bring to the MA and what you hope the MA will provide you.电影研究在我们的ps里一定要强烈陈述为什么要申请这个专业，以及希望能得到一些相关的经历或者学习知识等。

　　9、MA Heritage Studies 遗产研究

　　Relevant academic backgrounds include Archaeology, History, Anthropology, Classics, English, Art History, Photography, Natural Sciences, History and Philosophy of Science, Business Studies, and International Studies. 相关学术背景包括考古学，历史学，人类学，经典，英语，艺术史，摄影，自然科学，历史和科学哲学，商业研究和国际研究。

　　You must provide a statement of purpose outlining any work experience - including voluntary work - that you have in a heritage-related organisation (this includes museums and galleries). 您必须提供一份目的声明，概述您在遗产相关组织（包括博物馆和画廊）中的任何工作经验 - 包括志愿工作。

　　10、MA History历史
