To provide administrative support to the International Recruitment team. To provide a professional, welcoming introduction to the University by acting as a first point of contact for telephone, email, face-to-face enquiries about the University from prospective students. To support delivery of the International Recruitment Strategy.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
·To act as first point of contact for prospective students, teachers and overseas agents.
·To respond swiftly and effectively to all enquiries, maintaining excellent customer-care skills at all times, ensuring any enquiries that cannot be resolved immediately are passed on to an appropriate person. Take ownership of the management of enquiries.
·To assist in the planning and hosting of visits to campus from potential international applicants and their parents. Responsible for co-ordinating the availability of student ambassadors to undertake campus tours. Arranging cover as required.
Liaise with the International Recruitment Coordinators (IRC’s) to assist in the collation and checking of commission invoices in a timely manner from the University’s agents
Knowledge/Qualifications
Essential:
·Minimum of VQ 2/3, Standard Grades, city & guilds, or equivalent
·Cultural Awareness
Skills

·Working knowledge of databases, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and web-based research.
·Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
·Good problem solving skills

Fluent mandarin speaker
Experience
Essential:
Minimum of 1-2 years administrative work experience with qualifications, or 3-4 years relevant
·work experience without qualifications;
·Experience of working as part of a team;
·Experience of financial record keeping
·Experience of dealing with a wide range of customers in the UK and overseas.
·Experience of providing high level administrative support to senior staff.
·Direct experience of working in a customer service environment.
